Star Trail, Lake Powell, Utah
Creativity/Tech Tips: Set your camera on a tripod and use as wide open an aperture as possible. Combined with a fast film (in this case Agfa 1000 slide), you will pick up more star trails. This image is pointed at the North Star giving the result of a circular feel. Exposure time is about 1 minute candle lantern in tent, 1 1/2 hours for the stars. Made about three hours after sunset (notice horizon picks up distant city lights).
