Creativity/Tech Tips: Using hyperfocal distance is the only way to capture the focus from near to far with a 35mm SLR in this image. As a very general rule, use a small aperature (f22) and focus mid-way through the scene. Use your depth of field preview to see where the focus falls. The depth of field preview is an often underused, but very helpful tool, if used properly, for estimating focus.
