"Cliff"
Creativity/Tech Tips: The exposure for this image comes in two parts. First is the instantaneous flash from a strobe modified by a soft box. It is positioned to the right of the subject. In an instant, the flash burst exposes Cliff's face and right side. The second part of the exposure is the time needed to "fill" in the shadows. It comes from a contiunous light source (ambient) existing in the workshop. That part of the exposure builds detail in the background wood and the highlight on his arm from his workbench lamp.
