Single Rock and Waves,  Ruby Beach

Creativity/Tech Tips: This image was made using a tripod and ten second exposure.  Ground surface is constantly changing in active tidal zone. Be careful that your tripod is solidly set into the surface of the ground if waves are coming in and around it during the exposure. A tripod often moves with the rush of a wave and undertow. Also be leary of  salt on your camera or tripod legs from the ocean. I often wash my tripod in fresh water directly after using it around ocean water and wipe my camera gear with a clean towel.
